Harrogate Skills 4 Living Centre is a registered charity that provides a thriving adult education centre and community hub for around 100 people with learning disabilities, as well as residential homes in the Harrogate area. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic carers to join the team at Briardene Care Home. We have both full and part time vacancies, working various shifts covering between 7am and 10pm. You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives, including aspects of personal care, safeguarding and enabling community access.

You will be joining a well-respected team who are proud of their reputation for providing high quality care and support. This dedicated and experienced staff team work hard to maintain the high standards our residents deserve. Whilst no previous experience of working in care is necessary, you will have a natural empathy for our residents and a strong desire to help them overcome the barriers they face in leading an ordinary, meaningful life. HS4LC believe that helping staff develop the right skills and attributes is an essential aspect of providing high quality care and as such provide extensive training both on and off the job.

HS4LC will support you with your ongoing developing including support to work towards a level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care. Staff have commented, "I've learnt a lot since I started here" and "I couldn't be happier with the level of support." HS4LC also provide support with wellbeing including offering an employee assistance programme and free gym access at their Day Centre in Harrogate.
