Do you want a career where you can really make a difference in people’s lives?

If you are compassionate, a good communicator and enjoy working alongside others, a career in care could be the route for you!

In care, every day is different as your work revolves around the people you’re helping. You’ll be assisting with daily living, providing support and companionship – and sharing great moments and memories too.

It’s about helping people achieve often simple, daily tasks which they are no longer able to complete by themselves. Through your passion and commitment you’ll be helping people to see what’s possible and supporting them to achieve things they thought were impossible. Working in care can be challenging, but it’s a career that offers job satisfaction; excellent work life balance and continued training and development as well as the chance to make a difference.

The Shielings, in Harrogate, are currently seeking Support Workers (£8.50 per hour) to join their small but efficient and hardworking team. Whilst experience can be beneficial, it is not essential. We’re looking for those with excellent communication and organisation skills, a real passion for helping others and a willingness to learn. Flexible hours are available to suit all so do not hesitate in applying today!

Priory Adult Care, part of Priory Group, is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist adult care services. They invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, and give all staff the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.
