Are you a naturally caring and compassionate person? Do you enjoy working alongside others, helping people to have fulfilling and stimulating lives?

UBU support people of all ages with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. They are seeking an Enabler to join their enthusiastic and passionate team to provide outstanding care to their service users living in a Supported Living environment in Settle.

This is a great opportunity to join a team that have genuine bonds with their service users. Due to the nature of the role, you will spend good lengths of time with service users, not only helping with personal care but using your initiative to think up new ways of enriching their lives. Do they want to go out into the community today, take a stroll in the park or visit the cinema? You can arrange this. Do you have a talent you would like to share with them – teach them a craft or play them some music?

We are seeking someone with the right values and personality to join this team. Are you passionate about helping people? Will you strive to help them achieve their tasks, no matter how small or big? No specific experience is necessary, but you will need to be able to demonstrate your passion through any personal experiences you have helping others. A driving license and access to your own car would be beneficial, but is not essential.
