Bluebird Care have vacancies available within Selby and the surrounding areas for care assistants to support customers with all aspects of their day to day living, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Providing care and support is both a challenging and rewarding experience, you will work with customers in their own home. Good communication skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role providing compassionate care and support that is centred on the individual needs and wishes of each customer. Respecting customers’ choices and promote their dignity at all times.

We have a flexible approach to hours and contracts based on your availability and client’s needs offering care to service users between 06:30am and 10:00pm seven days a week, you will need to be available for alternate weekend working. Due to the nature of the business a full driving licence and own transport are essential for this role, full training and ongoing support and development will be provided, offering competitive rates of pay
Weekdays £8.00 / After 12 week probation £8.50
Weekends £9.00
Bank Holidays £12.50
