As a Personal Assistant with Disability Action Yorkshire you will be providing support to people in the community and the residential care home. You’ll be assisting with daily living, providing personal care, developing independent living skills – and sharing great moments and memories too.

Disability Action Yorkshire encourage all applicants to apply – if you already have experience and qualifications you will benefit from a higher rate of pay and candidates with no experience will be put on a structured salaried training and development programme.

All successful applicants can expect to receive competitive rates of pay, including pay increments for overtime and bank holiday working. You will be paid for all travel time, as well mileage when working in the community. If you don’t drive, all public transport tickets will be reimbursed and you get a mileage allowance for riding your push bike too!

They can offer flexible working hours from as little as 5 per week to 37.5 per week so there really is no reason not to apply!
