Do you want to be a part of something special?

We are seeking both full and part time Support Workers for Sherburn House in Knaresborough. With a variety of shift patterns available, there is something for everyone.

Sherburn House is a purpose-built care home that currently supports 11 adults with complex learning disabilities. Through your passion and commitment you’ll be helping people to see what’s possible and supporting them to achieve things they thought were impossible.

If you want a career that involves delivering person-centered care for people who genuinely appreciate it, whether you are an experienced support worker or are looking to start a new career; get in touch now. There will be an intensive 1 week induction to provide you with all the training you need to become an outstanding Carer.

You will join a tight-knit, family-like team. But don’t just take our word for it, one staff member has said, "We get lots of support from the management team. There is an open door policy in that we can go talk to them if we have any issues or problems. We have regular supervision and support meetings – about every six to eight weeks. We work well as a team and our views are listened to by the provider."

The Wilf Ward Family Trust passionately and actively promotes its valued staff to follow their career ambitions. They do this by offering a great rewards package, progression pathways including training, support networks, great working environments and paid leave.

They understand that happy staff means a happy home.
