If you are a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification, Orchard Care Homes has something to offer you.

You will have what it takes to nurture, encourage and care. Making a meaningful contribution to someone’s life is fulfilling, demanding, requires flexibility, professionalism and skills. You will be responsible for the implementation of high standards of nursing care which meets the needs of your residents and is in line with all regulations and safeguarding policies.

Supervising the development and implementation of individual nursing care plans and risk assessments, you will have knowledge of regulatory frameworks including DoLs. You will demonstrate a caring nature towards others, utilising your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide guidance to residents, their families and the care team at the home.

You will provide clinical leadership to nurses, acting in an advisory capacity regarding clinical issues. You will also lead the recruitment, induction and ongoing training of the nursing and care teams to ensure standards, policy frameworks and codes of practice are met, you will also liaise with CQC, Social Services, the NMC and other relevant bodies that support the delivery of quality care in our homes.
