We have a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is passionate and dedicated to providing outstanding support. As a Support Worker with Homes Together you will get to see the difference you are making on a daily basis. Your role will be varied and every day you will help others to achieve their goals and maintain an independent, fulfilling life.

We are seeking people who understand the importance of a person-centred approach to care and who is willing to learn and develop. Homes Together offer a unique training programme that provides knowledge on visual impairment, learning disabilities, mental health and challenging behaviours.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assisting service users with all areas of personal care as necessary.
  • To assist at meal times by preparing the meals with the help of service users, this can include baking & cooking activities.
  • To assist with the weekly shopping, stocking up on all food and cleaning supplies.
  • To support service users on outings, social events and in the community.
  • To assist with the day to day running of the home and domestic tasks.
  • Hours are worked on a rolling rota to enable you to plan your home life etc. Hours include evenings and weekends (average of 37/week). This is a permanent contract.
