Advert Details 

Elsinor Residential Home is currently looking for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager, to run a caring and committed service to its residents. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience and help Elsinor be the best it can be. 

As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the 34 bed EMI Home, and lead a team of over 30 staff, who are integral to the smooth running of the home. 

About the Role 

First and foremost, you will have overall responsibility for the effective running of the home ensuring residents are placed at the heart of everything. This will underpin your drive to ensure Elsinor is always striving for greatness in care. You will ensure that each resident has their individual needs clearly identified through formally developed care plans. The Home Manager role requires you to take a hands on approach in ensuring high standards of care are delivered. 

You will be required to work with various stakeholders to develop individual Care Plans for new residents and to ensure their formal review on a regular and pre-planned basis. 
This role also requires you to manage, deploy and support staff teams to deliver quality standards and meet resident’s outcomes. 

About You 

Elsinor need someone who not only has the passion for care, but the determination, knowledge and experience to lead and drive change. If you’re up for the challenge then through strong leadership, you can shape the direction of Elsinor’s future. Ideally, you will have a minimum of NVQ Level 5 or equivalent and have considerable experience at senior level of running and managing a care home. You will be aware of the need to ensure high standards, and compliance with the local authority and CQC requirements and regulations. 

What We Can Offer 

On offer is a generously competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum. Alongside this, you will be given an annual bonus at Christmas, or ensuring a minimum of 'Good' CQC Rating. This is a commitment to you, and a reward for your commitment to the home. Furthermore, your core work hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
