As a Support Worker you will work in partnership with people with a learning disability to enable them to live independent and fulfilling lives. We are seeking people who can work flexible hours, including some sleep-ins and 2 out of 4 weekends a month.

Every day will be different as it will revolve around the people you are supporting. One day may be going to the stores to assist someone choosing their own clothes, helping them climb a mountain or taking someone on their first flight on a plane! Through your passion and commitment you’ll be helping people to see what’s possible and supporting them to achieve things they thought were impossible.

If you want a career in Adult Social Care that involves delivering person-centered care for people who genuinely appreciate it, whether you are an experienced support worker or are looking to start a new career; get in touch now.

As some customers are very active and some of them love going out on visits then being a driver is preferable, however this is not essential. There may be some lone working or some personal care required as all our customers are as unique as you.

The Wilf Ward Family Trust passionately and actively promotes its valued staff to follow their career ambitions. They do this by offering a great rewards package, progression pathways including training, support networks, great working environments and paid leave.

They understand that happy staff means a happy home.
