Men Care

There are 1.45 million people working in adult social care, 18% of whom are male (Skills For Care). Here at Make Care Matter we want to promote and celebrate all male carers in North Yorkshire. They really do make a difference and have a positive impact.

Male care workers are often valued by their male service users. From a personal and safe perspective in moving and handling, service users have said they feel more confident with a male worker (BBC).
