Care Assistant – St Hilda’s Priory, Whitby –

Care Assistant Nights (FEMALE ONLY)

1 x Part time – 22 hours (2 nights per week)

 

Care Assistant Days (FEMALE ONLY)

2 x Full or Part time – (part time 18-30 hours per week, full time 37.5 hours per week)

£9.76 to £11.14 depending on qualifications

 

(Enhancement for night duty £10 extra per night shift)

 

St Hilda”s Priory are looking for caring individuals like YOU to provide holistic care to the elderly sisters of The Infirmary, a Registered Care Home, within an Anglican Religious Community. To work under direction/ guidance and supervision of the Care Manager or her designated deputy. To attend to the needs of the elderly or infirm sisters within the Aelred wing and be aware of and act with sensitivity towards their chosen way of life.



An exciting opportunity has arisen at St Hilda’s Priory Infirmary in Whitby to join their team. The Nights post is primarily night duties but there may be occasions when the hours will be worked on day shifts dependant on service need. There is also the opportunity to work additional hours when available in a bank capacity. There are also various hours available for Care Assistants (days) at St Hilda’s to join their hard-working team of 25 members providing a high standard of care for the 12 users of their service.

 

Ideally you will have good understanding and experience of care provision or working in a care environment and hold a qualification in health and social care, although this is not essential as training will be provided. There is opportunity to complete qualifications in health and social care through a local training provider.

 

You would be joining an already established and hard-working team, who have a reputation for providing a high standard of care.

To keep staff and residents safe at this time St Hilda’s Priory are currently offering restricted visiting with LFD testing. Interviews will be conducted off site. Additional infection prevention and control measures are in operation.
