    We are looking for Care Support Workers in Skipton area. 

     

     We are looking for Care Support Workers in Skipton area. Are you caring and can make a difference to someone’s life? If yes we would love to hear from you. Care Support Workers provide social and physical care to those in need of care and their carers, helping them achieve their goals and desired outcomes. Care Support Workers support the person to maximise their independence and wellbeing in a person-centred manner, working in ways which are consistent with the key aims of maintaining dignity and human rights.

 

  • Relating to your job:

  • We provide care to people in their own homes and support them to maintain their independence and health and well-being.

  • Provides the client with emotional support, companionship and a safe environment.

  • Assists the client with personal hygiene – helping the client to have a bath or shower, to go to the toilet or to care for their skin or hair

  •  Assists client with dressing / undressing, choice of clothes and personal appearance.

  •  Supports the client with their medication.

  • Assists the client with mobility including use of wheelchairs, hoists etc.

  •  Assists the client with a therapeutic programme designed by a medical professional.

  • Undertakes basic first aid and call the emergency services if required.

  • Reports any concerns about abuse or the welfare or safety of any adult or child there is contact with at work to a line manager / nominated person / person on call.


    No experience necessary, just a caring person with the right values as full training is given (Preferably a driver but not essential).
