As the Senior at Springhill Close Home Support, you will be part of a leadership team, inspiring and continuing to develop an already established and dedicated team of care professionals to ensure people accessing the services have the best experience and fulfil their life ambitions.
Springhill Close provides 24-hour care and support across two bungalows, supporting four tenants with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
All tenants require a person-centred approach to their care and support for their daily living skills, support and encouragement to access the community and activities and to enable them to maintain their health and well-being.
Tenants are supported and encouraged to make choices and decisions and achieve meaningful goals. Tenant’s families are actively involved in the tenants lives and effective communication is key to maintaining these relationships.
A key part of your role will be to support the Team leader and Registered Manager to ensure people are supported inclusively by a team who treat people with dignity and respect, and that person-centred care runs through every aspect of what you and the team you will lead always put the person at the centre of everything they do.

We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting people living with learning disabilities, autism, and physical health needs in a person-centred way. Your role will include working with a range of partners including health professionals and families.
To be successful, you will have knowledge and experience of supporting autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and/or people living with complex needs.
As the Senior you will support the Team leader and Registered Manager to ensure the service complies with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) regulations 2014 and the CQC Single Assessment Framework. You will also be working with your team to maintain the status of NAS autism specialisation award.

If you do not already hold the Level 3 Diploma in Social Care, all we ask is for your commitment to study the qualification with full support and training from us to help you to develop. Due to the requirements of the role, a Level 2 Diploma in Social Care is required as a minimum for this role.
A DBS clearance is required for the post.
The service operates on a 24/7 basis so you will be expected to be based at the service and may be required to undertake a variety of shifts and sleep in duties.
