Care and Support Worker

Salary: £12.85 to £13.47 per hour plus £30 weekend enhancement

Contract Type: Fixed Term

Fixed Term Contract Duration: 12 months

Vacancy Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, working alternate weekends)

Location: Filey, North Yorkshire  

 

 

 

Silver Birches is a residential home in Filey, that provides personal care and accommodation for people with intermediate, respite and day care needs. At Silver Birches our priority is the people we support and making a difference to their lives, we are looking to recruit a new part time team member on a 12-month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave within the team.

 

As a Care and Support Worker, no two days are the same. Your role will be to deliver care and support plans whilst continuing to encourage people to remain independent and in control of their own well-being.  Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will work under clear instructions and guidance from senior colleagues. The positive impact you can make to the lives of others is invaluable.

 

Working in care is far more than just a job, it is interaction, communication and relationship building. The enjoyment of activities, sharing of stories and memories, all whilst learning from the vast life experience of the people you support.
