Care Assistant

Location: Staithes, Town and Country Care 

Salary: £12.40 per hour

Contract type: Permanent

Hours/working pattern: Part-time

Town and Country Care Ltd are looking for a part-time care assistant to join our Staithes domiciliary team. The Staithes team operates in and around the Staithes (TS13) area, including the surrounding villages, supporting people in their own home. The shift-pattern involves working every-other weekend, plus picking up shifts during the week where needed to cover holiday and sickness.

The local, family-run company has been operating for 17 years now and supports almost 100 local clients. We always look for caring and friendly candidates to join our team, no past experience is required as all training is provided.

We also own a small residential centre which currently has 9 beds, available for short-term and permanent stays. Our day centre also operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from the home.

Duties include:

• Personal Care
• Medication Assistance
• Meal Preparation
• Household Tasks
• Social Support

Job incentives:

• Set minimum hours per shift to compensate for cancellations, hospitalisations or gaps.
