The 136th Malton Show is back on Sunday, June 30th, 2024, and Make Care Matter is excited to meet you there!
Held at Scampston Park in Malton, the Malton Show is an agricultural and country event perfect for a family day out. With attractions like classic cars, sheep dog trials, and numerous children's rides, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Among the many trade stands, you'll find Kim, and Kate at the Make Care Matter stand, ready to discuss careers in adult social care.
When asked about the event, Kimberly Holden, a Make Care Matter Resourcing Partner said, “Our team is passionate about engaging with our local communities and promoting careers in adult social care and we look forward to chatting with you about the various service areas, career opportunities, and pathways available in Adult Social Care."
While each role requires specific skills and knowledge, they all share one crucial factor: the chance to make a difference every day. Kate Wylie, a Make Care Matter Resourcing Officer, encourages anyone interested in care to enquire with the team, stating “many positions do not require previous experience or qualifications, as relevant training and support are often provided by employers to help you start your career journey in care.”
So come along, meet the team, and enjoy the Malton Show! For more details about the event, visit Malton Show. If you can't make it, explore our resources to help you start your journey in adult social care at Make Care Matter.
