Ellershaw House residential home, based in the beautiful rural outskirts of Ripon, are seeking support workers to join their team. Based on a farm with fourteen acres of land, Ellershaw House is a home for ten to twelve adults with learning disabilities. This is a unique role where you will be fully immersed into the friendly family-like atmosphere.

Your duties will be varied, involving aspects of personal care and support with daily living.

Do you have a passion, hobby or skill that you could share with the residents? Many of the team here bring their hobbies to work and get everyone involved. The possibilities are endless as residents here enjoy gardening, arts, music, horse riding and more!

Do you love animals? They have horses! You will not be required to look after the animals, but a general love for them will come in handy.

We are seeking candidates with some experience supporting and caring for others, or experience in working with Learning Disabilities, as well as candidates that have or are willing to work towards their Level 2/3 Health and Social Care qualification.
