Here at On the Spot Homecare, we provide a high quality service to adults in our local community. You will be working alongside adults who may have a physical disability, dementia or are elderly and just require a little extra help!

Your responsibilities would be meal preparation, administering medication, providing personal care and home hygiene. By doing this you are really make a huge difference to somebody’s life!

We are based in Skipton with all of our calls in the Skipton area so you won’t have to travel very far, and although the travel times through Skipton from call to call are only short, we pay travel time and a fuel allowance plus bonus schemes to help with cost of living increases.

If you do not yet have experience in care, do not worry! We will provide full training along with 2 weeks shadowing. If you do not already hold NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, after your probationary period we will support you to complete this NVQ and also fund the qualification so it costs you nothing!

We have a variety of shifts – 7am to 2pm and 3:30pm to 9:30pm and alternate weekends are expected and some afternoons as well. We also welcome students or semi retired candidates who maybe looking for some part time work.

Due to the nature of the job a full UK license is desirable, however if you do not hold a drivers license please still apply.
